Cammy and Shane Winder - Owners
Cammy and Shane are the proud owners and operators of Rising Star Youth Training Center, a business they built together in June 2013 with a passion for helping children grow, learn, and thrive. Cammy has called Craig home since 1998, while Shane is a lifelong resident of the community. Cammy brings a strong business background from her successful career in direct sales, while Shane works as a mechanic for Tallgrass Energy Partners and enjoys spending his free time pursuing one of his greatest passions—hunting. He jokes that he hunts as often as work and Cammy will allow! Together, Cammy and Shane are parents to three children of their own, giving them a firsthand understanding of the importance of physical activity, confidence, friendship, and the social and emotional benefits that come from being part of a team and community. Cammy is actively involved in the gym, coaching in our recreational program and working with our Xcel competitive teams. Both Cammy and Shane truly enjoy working with children and are passionate about creating a positive environment where every athlete feels supported, encouraged, and motivated to reach their potential. They are excited to continue watching Rising Star athletes learn new skills, build confidence, make lasting friendships, and succeed both inside and outside the gym! |
